The customer had his mind set on a semi-flexible kitchen/dining area, a living room that allows enough space for a music and dvd collection, a bathroom with a bathtub, a dressing area that can be separate from the bedroom and a corner to place a desk.
We cleaned up this under-functional dark flat and rearranged it from east to west. To the street (west) we placed the living areas - the living room, kitchen and dining room - and to the courtyard (east) the night areas - two bedrooms that are accessed by a dressing storage corridor.
This lovely ‘altbau’ needed only one major shift. By moving the bathroom to the middle, we created numerous possibilities of using the space.
We transformed this typical Berlin apartment by following the practical use of space. Towards the quiet courtyard we accommodated two bedrooms and to the street side we arranged the living, dining and kitchen.
A young couple wished for a functional home. As they spend a lot of time cooking and hosting dinners, we facilitated their needs by placing special emphasis on the dining/cooking areas. The kitchen is therefore given a central location and allows different parties to participate in the food preparation process. The flat’s sleeping areas are detached from the living areas to allow the parents to enjoy their social routines without disturbing their sleeping child.
This interesting layout is a result of our customers’ specific wishes. A big dream of an ensuite bathroom and a separate dressing area was made possible by rearranging the north side of the flat. We placed another big room that can be used as a bedroom study or a guest room facing the main wall. Following comfortable living and cooking/dining room arrangements.
In this challenging flat we saw the opportunity to create a small separate bedroom and a cosy living/dining space. We placed storage, kitchen and washing appliances into a ‘service stripe’ along the entrance wall.
Renovation of an old pub into a small living unit on the first floor and an office space on the ground floor. The client had his eyes set on a bigger dining area and a private bedroom that offers an additional view of a lovely neighbouring church.
A small mediterranean apartment was designed to fulfill a specific need. Accommodating four guests as well as finding a rational portion to fit a pleasant daly areas kitchen and the connection to the terrace.
A penthouse beauty with a roof-top terrace. The task was a dream. Specious flat that enhances South and North, East and West. A luxurious wish for an open space plan gave us a freedom to develop a cosmopolitan contemporary home.
A lovely 'altbau' flat, gave just a bit of room for juggling around. Ambitious clients vision combined with few Archicubator's advices came into place to solve a riddle and put the spaces into right order.
A minor changes to the new build.
A typical house from an after war period, with small but thought trough spaces got its unlucky first renovation proposal.
We have thought around it and harmoniously extend its high partner to connect the living spaces with an outside garden area. Internally it all connects to a central spine- an element that accommodates all the services and storages. By adding two elements to the new proposal, we created the contemporary look with a respect to its heritage.
Each and every one of us has a specific need. We will help you discover different possibilities of optimizing your space. Our experience and vision, combined with your wishes result in a unique floor plan proposal for your home.
